He was predeceased by: his parents, Osvle M. Hyde and Nellie Thomas Hyde; his children, Mary Hyde-Hurley and Jordan T. Hyde; and his siblings, David Sparkman Jr., Leota Gaston, Nancy Luna, Mary-Jo Nelson and Anna Bartell.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hyde (Breakell); his children, Elizabeth Hyde of Rockport and Osvle L. Hyde Jr. of Wheeling, WV; and his sister Martha Glory of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
