She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Arthur R. Haanpaa (Artie). She is survived by: her husband Frank B. Smith Jr. (Hank) of Holden; her brothers, Mitchell and Alburn Hayden; her foster sister Jean Clancey of Dartmouth, NS.; and her children, Janice L. Haanpaa and Stephen H. Smith.
