Judith L. Williams Obituary
Judith (Jelmberg) Williams, 82, of Rockport, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2022, at Beverly Hospital following a prolonged illness.
Born in Rockport, MA she was the daughter of the late Rachel (Story) and Bill Jelmberg. Judy was known for her kindness and love of family. Some of her favorite activities included being a member of Spiran Lodge, gardening, summer days at Cape Hedge beach, spending time with friends and family, and attending her grandchildren's activities and traveling.
Before returning to Rockport to retire, Judy raised her 6 children in Groveland, MA where she was active at St. Patrick's Church and very involved at her children's school and activities.
She is survived by her sister Bonnie (Jelmberg) Gahm of Rockport, MA and children , Bobette Williams of Gloucester, MA, Beth Mock and her husband Dave of Rockport, MA, Clifford Williams of Half Moon Bay, CA, Bonnie LaBorde and her husband Mark of Gulf Shores,, AL, Bill Williams and his wife Lisa of Brentwood, NH, Caitlyn DaCruz and her husband Tony of Rockport, MA; 12 grandchildren, Chris, Erin, Devin, Michael, Luke, Daniel, Melissa, Michael, Emily, Abigail, Isabella and Evan; 4 great grandchildren, Kaikoa, Keola, Makaio, Bruce and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and her husband Les Williams.
The family would like to thank the Oncology Unit at Addison Gilbert Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion.
Her graveside service will be held in Beech Grove Cemetery, Rockport on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at 3 p.m. Family and friends are cordially invited.
