Joseph T. Lattof Obituary
Joseph T. Lattof age 72 of Rockport, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2024, surrounded by his loving family, at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston.
Son of Albert F. Lattof and Dorothy (Newman) Lattof. He graduated from Rockport High-School class of 1970. After high school he joined the United States Air Force, where he served as an airplane mechanic. He then went on to work for the U.S. postal service and then Mullen advertising/management for over 35 years.
Joe was a long-time member of the Cape Ann Moose Lodge 1471, where he served as a 2 time governor and administrator. Joe was a happy-go-lucky type of guy who would do anything for anyone. He loved his backyard and grilling, entertaining his friends and family. He loved to golf, and he truly enjoyed his yearly golf trip to Poland Spings with the guys.
But most of all he loved his family. He is survived by his wife Paula Lattof of 43 years, son Jason Mailo, daughter Hope Spiegel and her husband Teddy Spiegel. Above all he adored his grandson, Cameron Mailo. He LOVED being his Fafa.
He also leaves behind his sister Marilyn Sweet and husband Ralph Sweet, sister Ann Ryan and husband Ken, sister-in-law Mary Lattof, brother-in-law Dick Super and wife Doreen, and many nieces and nephews.
Joe was predeceased by his parents, his beloved brother Al Lattof, Unky Joe, nephew Eric, sister-in-law Carol Hennessy, brother-in-law Mike Hennessy, as well as his bestie Rick Gallant and his girls Jodi, Pam, Babs, and Tammy, whom we hope are having a giant party together.
