Hugh Elliott Mohr Obituary

Hugh Elliott Mohr, 73, of Rockport, MA., formerly of Litchfield, Connecticut, passed away at his home on Friday, May 5, 2023, following a lengthy illness with his family by his side. Born in Litchfield, Connecticut, son of the late Howard E. and Shirley (Prindle) Mohr.

Hugh was a graduate of Kent School and Trinity College.

Hugh was a business executive on Wall Street in the 1980's, an architectural photographer, poet and blues guitarist. He had a lifelong interest in racecars and an unending love for Airedale terriers. Hugh's kind spirit and sense of humor will be missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn E. (Ellis) Mohr; sister, Dana Boyce; brother, Brent Mohr and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, services will be private with a celebration of his life at a later date.
