It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn V. Makkonen of Rockport, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 25, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Reino T. Makkonen; her parents, Evert Forsman and Esther Forsman (Nelson); her children, Everett Wayrynen and Cynthia Gralenski (John Gralenski); and her brother Robert Forsman.
She is survived by: her son Ray W. Makkonen of Rockport; her grandson Douglas Gralenski (Pam); her great grandchild Dan Gralenski (Tristan); her niece Pam Perkins; and also, Steve Wayrynen (Stacey), Amanda Beadles (Matt), Pam Luneke (Jim), Reino Makkonen (Julie) and Terry Waters.
