Edward C. Carlson Obituary

Edward C. Carlson, 76, of Rockport, passed away at Addison Gilbert Hospital, Friday, March 24, 2023. He was the husband of the late Ethel E. (Rich) Carlson. Born in Beverly, son of the late Uno and Beatrice (Mackey) Carlson.

Ed was a graduate of Rockport High School Class of 1964. He enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox, playing cribbage and old cars. Often you would see Ed sitting on his front porch in the warm sunshine striking up conversation with every passerby.

Ed is survived by his two sons; Eric Carlson and his wife Tammy of Florida, Pete Carlson and his wife Jen of Rockport, one grandson; Willy Carlson of Rockport; one sister; Doreen Warren of Maine, and best friend Joe Cribbs of Gloucester.
