Anthony E. Torrisi Jr. Obituary
Anthony E. "Tony" Torrisi Jr, 90, of Rockport, husband of Dolores M. 'Lori' (Anderson) Torrisi, passed away in the Oceanside Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Rockport on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. Tony was born in Gloucester, MA on April 20, 1931 and was the son of the late Anthony E. and Aune M. (Mattson) Torrisi.
He was a graduate of Rockport High School and joined the U.S. Navy, where he served honorably during the Korean War from 1951-1954.
Tony was a member of the Rockport Legion Post 98 for the last 52 years, where he served as Chaplain. His hobbies were playing softball, bowling and most of all he loved sharing his musical talent with everyone.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores 'Lori', brother, Ado; his son David; daughters Colleen and Mary-Kate; grandchildren, Christine, Robert, Daniel, Anthony, Isabella, Dominic, Vincent, Leo, Sophia and Joey; two great-grandchildren, Gavin and Sarah and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, sister Irene, daughter Patricia, and wife Nina.

His visiting hours will be held in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St. Gloucester on Sunday, November 21, from 3-5 p.m. Family and friends are cordially invited. His graveside service will be on Monday, November 22 in the Locust Grove Cemetery, in the Lanesville section of Gloucester at 11 am.
