He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Donnelly and Mary Elizabeth Kaise. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Kelly; his siblings, Charlie, Grace, Madeline, Harry, Bill (Claire) and Phil Dion; his children, Joseph Donnelly (Ann Podolski) of Carver, Maureen McQuiggan of Montpelier, Anne Cavanaugh (Tom) of Rockland and Peter Donnelly (Susan) of Carver; his grandchildren, Patrick, Michael, Joe, Mary T, Sean, Rosie, Emily, Kevin and Steven; and his great grandchildren, Bryce, Ada, Meg, Eloise and Helaina.
