He is survived by: his wife Elaine Amarante (Hilte); his daughter Trish Amarante (Patty); his son-in-law David Filardi; his grandchildren, Mario and Mia Filardi; and his siblings, Helen, Ann and Joseph. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
