She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Lauby and Helen Lauby (Ramoska); her husband Jim Dowd of Rockland; her brother Dick Lauby of California; and her brother-in-law Bob Jack of Maryland.
She is survived by: her close friend Vince MacDonald of East Bridgewater; her daughter Colleen Hall of Rockland; her grandchildren, Brandon, Will, Max, Alex, Aiden and Brianna; and her siblings, Elly Jack of Maryland, Jack Lauby (Ginny) of Texas and Lu Giordano (Vince) of Florida. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews and all their children and grandchildren.
Helen touched many more lives than she ever realized, therefore, in lieu of flowers, contributions in Helen's memory can be made for the advancement of cancer research at the Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Institute (http://www.dana-farberbrigham.org.) or South Shore Hospital (http://www.southshorehealth.org).
