He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett E. Niemi and Theresa L. Niemi (Mestieri). He is survived by: his wife Judith E. Niemi (Cusick); his children, Sally Niemi-Farhoody (Nassrine) of Auburn, Stephen Niemi (Trisha Osborne) of Wareham, Jeffrey Niemi (Lisa) of Rochester and Jennifer Proffit (Steven) of Rochester; his sisters, Elizabeth Galavotti of Cheyenne, WY and Catherine Doris of Westport; and his grandchildren, Michael, Mary Niemi, Zachary, Jake Proffit, Cameron and Courtney Osborne. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
