She was predeceased by: her parent Arthur Fernandes; and her sister Marion "Yahee" Fernandes-Baxter. She is survived by: her parent Rose Fernandes (Thomas); her husband Thomas J. Bretto; her daughters, Kimberly Bretto of Rochester and Kendall Smiley of Rochester; her son-in-law Kurt Smiley of Rochester; her sisters, Bernadine Sacchetti of Wareham, Marie Pina of Wareham, Marlene "Judy" Mason of Wareham, Alice Fernandes of Marion, Pamela Rose of Wareham, Rose Renee Fernandes of New Bedford, Margo Fernandes and Wanda Harrington; and her grandchildren, Kiera Smith, Elijah Smith, Max Smiley, Wyatt Smiley and Zion Smiley. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
