He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Tomkiewicz and Angelina Tomkiewicz (Kosiba); his son Fred Jr.; his grandson Taylor; and his sons-in-law, John Brightman and Paul Reusch, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Tomkiewicz (Brienzo); his stepchildren, Joanne Brightman, Norman Boudreau (Angela) and Nicole Reusch (Mark Leone); his grandchildren, Dallas, Justin, Hunter and Nicholas (Jennifer); and his great grandchildren, Morgan, Nicholas and Brady. He is also survived by his three children.
