He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Chumsae, Sr. and Agnes Chumsae (Cormier); his daughter-in-law Ann Chumsae; and his siblings, Raymond Chumsae, Virginia Dickman and Joseph Chumsae.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Chumsae (Schofield) of Rochdale; his children, John J. Chumsae, III (Darlene) of Hanson, Steven R. Chumsae (Katrina) of Sturbridge, Gary M. Chumsae (Sharon) of Worcester, Michael W. Chumsae of Auburn, Brenden C. Chumsae (Debra) of Auburn, MaryEllen Phillips of Muncey, IN, Patricia "Patty" Abruzzise of Rochdale and Scott F. Chumsae (Maureen) of Barre; his children-in-law, Lisa Richardson of Worcester, Steven Abruzzise of Webster and Alan Phillips of York, ME; his grandchildren, Michele, Christopher, Jamie, Lauren, Jared, Ryan, Lowell, Jason, Ashley, Adam, Jennifer, Brian, Cole, Austin, Taylor and Steven; his siblings, Mark Chumsae (Janice) of Wells, ME, Richard Chumsae (Corinne) of El Paso, TX and Thomas Kelleher (Joan) of North Ft; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Chumsae of Shrewsbury and James Dickman of Rochdale. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many wonderful close friends and extended family.
