Nancy R. Benedict Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Sherrill Reynolds and Arthur Reynolds; her husband Edward Benedict; and her siblings, Judith Hoermann, Carlton Reynolds (Bud) and David Reynolds.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Benedict of Richmond, MA, Vicki Benedict of Troy, NY, Sally Chavarry of Richmond, MA and Brian Benedict of South Thomaston, ME.; her grandchildren, Jessica Bootman, Rebecca Burns, Jeremy Dus, Anthony Chavarry, Amy Chavarry, Christopher Benedict and Brooke Cloutier; her great grandchildren, AJ, Evelyn, Quinn, Carter, Emma, Grace and Noelle; and her sister Linda Davis of Needham, MA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wellington Family Funeral Home - Pittsfield (220 East St, Pittsfield, MA 01201). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dwyer-Wellington Funeral Home (220 East St, Pittsfield, MA 01201).

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Anita Chapman Scholarship Fund (of which Nancy was a founding member) or the Richmond Library, which provided her with many hours of reading pleasure, in care of the Dwyer-Wellington Funeral Home.
