He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard and Eva (O'Brien); his son William J. Strong Jr. of Morgantown, WV.; and his brother George Strong. He is survived by: his wife Patty Reilly Strong; his children, Elizabeth Strong of Revere, Leonard Strong of Pittsburgh, PA and Susan Strong (Scott Horner) of Marlborough; his grandchildren, Athena Strong Tucker (Evan), Nicholas Albano, Dylan Strong, Sarah Horner and Ryan Horner; and his siblings, Robert Strong, Helen McKinnon of Revere, Walter Strong and Leonard Strong. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
