He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph "Lefty" and Anna Sponpinato (Simonelli); his spouse Amelia Sponpinato (DeSimone); his children, Anna Robinson (Robert) of Revere, Gina Mack (William) of Revere, Lisa Petrillo (Roberto) of Revere and Nancy Sponpinato of Revere; his grandchildren, Colleen Rossetti (Michael), Harley Petrillo, Jessica Mack (Matthew Catanzariti), James Petrillo, Antonia Robinson, William Petrillo and Marina Robinson; and his siblings, Adele Ciampa of Winthrop and Phyllis "Chickie" Bavaro.
