He was predeceased by: his son Ricky Cordwell; and his brother Vincent "Jimmy" Mellone. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Mellone (Cordwell); his children, Robin Vasquez (James) of Revere and Maria Mellone-Macaluso (John) of Revere; his siblings, Michael Mellone and Concetta Scavo; and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Mia and Mason Macaluso. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
