He is survived by: his wife Virginia Whitten (Smith); his children, Warren Whitten (Anne Marie) of Everett, James "Jimmy" Whitten (Cheryl) of Revere, Nancy Gallien (Raymond) of Nashua, NH, Julie Lilley of Revere, Mary St. Onge (Louis) of Colebrook, NH, Michael Whitten (Claire) of Rockport, Christopher Whitten (late Michele) of Waterville, ME, Darlene Palmer (Richard) of Epson, NH, Elaine Nickerson of Lynn and Jessica "Jessie" Whitten of Lynn; and his siblings, Doris Baker, Donald Whitten and Kenneth Whitten. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
