She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Jensen and Anna Jensen (Keates); her husband Fred Melone; her child Jamie Melone; and her brother Peter Jensen.

She is survived by: her children, Kim Lyons (David) of Revere, Cindy Blanchard (William) of Methuen, Teri Hynes (Gary) of Peabody and Jody Melone of Melrose; her sister Clara Cacciola (late Peter) of Revere; her grandchildren, Casey (Dan Sieck), Brendan (Allison Blanchard), Courtney Lyons, Michelle Blanchard, Jeremy Hynes (Theresa) and Jared Hynes; and her great grandchild Cora Sieck.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the kaplan Family Hospice House 78 Liberty St, Danvers, MA 01923 Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
