Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Robert M. leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his wife Anita A. Cassidy (Belmonte); his parents, Michael Cassidy and Annie Cassidy (O'Brien); and his siblings, Frank Cassidy (Mary) of Burlington and Marie A. MacDonald (Daniel J. Also). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Beechwood Home For Funerals (262 Beach St, Revere, MA 02151). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (133 Beach St, Revere, MA 02151).

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to The Immaculate Conception School, 127 Winthrop Ave., Revere, MA 02151.

“Mr. Cassidy was a wonderful human being, and a great teacher. I loved his history classes. I enjoyed his lectures on different aspects of U.S. history, and I also enjoyed his required notes. The conversations about American history will always be a treasure which I have tried to emulate in my fifth-grade classes. I will miss his yearly visit to the Beachmont Veterans Memorial School and his presentation of the Porcella Award. God bless.”
