He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Prior (Duggan) and Charles L. Carter Sr. Prior; and his brother Charles "Chubba" Carter Jr. Robert. He is survived by: his wife Janice M. Cantelli; his sons, Robert Carter Jr. (Jill) of Winthrop and Wayne Carter (Lisa) of Saugus; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Michael, Danielle Carter, Jessica and Victoria Carter; and his siblings, John Carter (late Margaret) of Palm Bay, FL, Nancy Cohen (Kenneth) of Salem, NH and Fred Carter (Christine) of Salem, NH. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
