He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Coviello and Phyllis Coviello (Staffier); his son Nicholas; and his sister Frances Carpinelli of East Boston. He is survived by: his wife Laura Coviello (Henderson); his daughters, Deborah Barker of East Boston and Sandra Colantonio (Mark) of East Boston; his siblings, Camille Giacobelli (Charles) of Malden and Robert Coviello (MaryEllen) of Arlington; his grandchildren, Amanda Barker-Santiago (Joseph) of Peabody, Alicha Marcalo (Kenny) of North Reading, Laura Pari of Everett, Jaclyn Pari of Salem and Christopher Colantonio of East Boston; and his great grandchildren, Alexandria, Jacob, Drayven, Kayson, Scarlett, Nicole, Grace, Nicholas and Jackson. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
