He was predeceased by: his grandson Nicholas Verdura; his parents, Andrea Verdura and Rosa Verdura; and his sisters, Nina Costa and Alessandra Papalia.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy Verdura; his children, Rosemarie Vacirca (Salvatore), Andy Verdura (Maureen) and Angelo Verdura (Amy); his sister Maria Aleo (Giuseppe); and his grandchildren, Gina McDonald, Cassandra Verdura, Andrea Gallant, Andrew Verdura and Michael Vacirca. He is also survived by 8 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Buonfiglio Funeral Home (128 Revere St, Revere, MA 02151). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Anthony's Church (250 Revere St, Revere, MA 02151). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (175 Broadway, Malden, MA 02148).
