He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rachel Russo (Coccimiglio); his children, Luigi Russo (Aurelle) of Rowley, MA and Teresa Soto (Santiago) of Groveland, MA.; his siblings, Giovanni Russo (Ermelinda) of Revere, MA, Angelina DiPlacido (Michele) of Calore, Mirabella Eclano and Avellino; his grandchildren, Leonila, Selena Russo, Mia and Haleigh Soto; and his parents, Gennaro and Teresina Russo of Calore.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Buonfiglio Funeral Home (128 Revere St, Revere, MA 02151). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Parish (250 Revere St, Revere, MA 02151).
