Julio Matarazzo Obituary
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Julio Matarazzo of Revere, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 91, on January 7, 2025. In the sacred silence of farewell, Julio is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Julio's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emilio Matarazzo and Josephine Matarazzo (Cipoletta). He is survived by: his wife Teresa Matarazzo (Manni); his sons, Emilio Matarazzo, Julio Matarazzo, Mark Matarazzo and Matthew Matarazzo; and his daughter-in-law Jennifer Matarazzo. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Leonard Church (320 Hanover St, Boston, MA 02113). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MSPCA in Sonny's memory to honor his lifelong love for animals.
