He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Laura Hoyos (Orrago); and his parents, Francisco Hoyos and Ana Beiba Hoyos (Gomez). He is survived by: his children, Heiber S. Hoyos and Carolina of Revere. He is also survived by 10 brothers and sisters.
