He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Silva Sr. and Julia (Vacca); and his wife Arlene (Kelly). He is survived by: his girlfriend Stephanie DeRosa of Revere; his children, Michelle Silva-Reed of Revere and John J. Silva III (Holly Luck) of Revere; his grandchildren, Natalie and Nathan Reed; and his brother Robert Silva (Jeanise Bertrand) of Revere.
