He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John F. Dowd, Jr. and Alice R. Dowd (Haas); his wife Mary (Gray) of Revere; his son John F. Dowd, IV (Elizabeth) of Kingston, NH; his granddaughter Ophelia Josephine; and his siblings, Edmund J. Dowd of Saugus, Nancy E. Dowd of Revere and Jeanne F. Cotter of Colorado Springs, CO.. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Beechwood Home For Funerals (262 Beach St, Revere, MA 02151). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
