It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan (Dimodica) Destefano of Revere, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 20, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip DiModica and Mary DiModica (Coco); her husband Edward J. DeStefano, Sr.; and her brother Frank. She is survived by: her children, Jane Murphy (Robert) of Melrose, Denise Cole (Mitchell) of Peabody, Edward DeStefano Jr. of Revere and Michael DeStefano (Rosemarie) of Revere; her grandchildren, Sarah Murphy (Adrian Haimovich), Robert Murphy, Julia DeStefano, Christopher Cole and Sophia DeStefano; her great grandchild Luca Haimovich; and her siblings, Marie Fallon of Revere, Domenic, Joseph, Catherine DiModica, Rose Carroll, Carmela Doherty, Frances Dakin and Celia Kelleher. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 133 Beach St, Revere at 10:30 AM. Friday, October 29, 2021 (Masks are requested upon entrance to church).
