He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Brassil and Margaret Brassil (Toomey); and his siblings, Jack Brassil, Dot Gavin, Paul Brassil, Rita Carroll, Richard Brassil and Maureen Brassil.
He is survived by: his significant other Sandra McKay; his significant other's sons, Jimmy, Dan, Mark and Matthew; and his siblings, Margaret Cameron, Thomas Brassil, Robert Brassil, Nancy Luzzo, Fred Brassil, Joseph Brassil and Bill Brassil.
