He is survived by: his wife Maritza Rivera (De La Rosa); his father Enrique Rivera of Guatemala; his son Oliver Rivera; his daughter-in-law Nicaury Suazo of Coconut Creek, FL; his children, Joel Rivera of Revere and Orysell Rivera of Revere; his grandson Adrian Rivera; his stepgrandson Raynel Garcia of Coconut Creek, FL; and his siblings, Carlos Rivera (Shirley) of Salem, NH, Ana Maria Rivera of Guatemala and Mario Rivera of Guatemala. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
