He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Nowlan (Lloyd); his parents, James A. Nowlan and Norma J. Nowlan (Cordes); and his brother James "Mickey" Nowlan. He is survived by: his significant other Elizabeth "Betty" Rice; his children, Darryl Nowlan (Lori Welch), Bradley Nowlan (Katelynne), Todd Nowlan and Maggie Campbell (Seth); his grandchildren, Hannah Nowlan and Killian Nowlan; his stepdaughter Sarah Rice; his sister Linda Roma (Marcial); and his nieces and nephews, Michael Roma (Siobhan), Marcial Roma (Amber) and Miranda Laperle (Ryan).
