It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis Michael Mahoney of Revere, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 25, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Mahoney and Ethelyn Mahoney (Mallison); his wife Jeanne (Roy); and his sister Helen Vorhees. He is survived by: his children, Karen Ruggieri (Bastiano Mancuso) of Wayland and Philip Mahoney (late Kathleen) of Weymouth; his grandchildren, Tyler Ruggieri and Olivia Mahoney; and his siblings, Ethelyn Mitchell (Jim) of Revere and Philip Mahoney. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Due to the current spike in Covid-19, the guidelines issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and local officials, funeral services will be privately held for the immediate family under the direction of the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere, Ma 02151.
