He was predeceased by: his parents, Crescenzo and Anna (Del Monaco); and his siblings, Andrea (Giuseppina) and Fernando. He is survived by: his spouse Leslie (Lomba); his son Matthew Bonaventura of Revere; his siblings, Angelo (Lidia) of Medford, Aldo (Mary) of Medford and Silvana Bonaventura; and his mother-in-law Maria DeRenzis. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, brother and sister-in-laws.
