With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor T. Hitchings of Revere, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 1, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Yolanda Poto (Bruno) and George Poto; her sisters, Philomena Bettano and Theresa Meads; her husband Kenneth Hitchings; her sons, Robert Alderman (Virginia Alderman) of Haverhill, MA, George Alderman (Mary Alderman) of Danvers, MA and Richard Alderman of Revere, MA; and her grandchildren, Robin Desmarais, Lynn Alderman-Boyer, Robert Alderman, Jessica Lobello, Alaina Ruest, Kenny Alderman and Erick Alderman. She was also cherished by ten loving great grandchildren; and six loving great-great grandchildren.

Eleanor's family kindly asks that you wear a mask and practice social distancing when attending services.
