We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Cornelia Barrett (Revere, Massachusetts), born in Palisades Park, New Jersey. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry and Marie (Thomas); her husband Richard "Dick" Barrett; and her brother Henry Rusman. She is survived by: her children, Cornelia L. "Connie" Barrett (Bruce Fraidowitz) of Manhattan, NJ and Theresa "Tracey" Lee (Kenneth) of Manhattan, NY; her granddaughters, Julianna Lee (Rafi Pelles) of Cambridge, MA, Victoria and Caroline Lee of Manhattan, NY; her siblings, Elizabeth "Betsy" O'Brien, Mary Doherty, John Rusman and Dorothea "Dot" Ring; her niece Lynn Ladas; and her son-in-law Bruce. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
In NYC, Connie was also able to enjoy an independent life since she was able to walk to the grocery store only two blocks away, which she continued to do for ten years until she was 96 and Covid restricted her opportunities to go out.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Connie's name to your local Meals on Wheels organization.
