Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Charles Demattia Sr. of Revere, Massachusetts, born in Medford, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 92, on November 4, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael and Marina (Potito); his wife Rita (Insani); and his brother Michael DeMattia. He is survived by: his children, Charlene McDonald of Salem, Judith Melanson of Revere, David DeMattia of Revere and Robert DeMattia of Revere; his grandchildren, Courtney McDonald, Krystal Vacketta, Lauren Melanson, Amanda, Stacey, Rachel, Jonathan and Jennifer DeMattia; his siblings, Jody Caruso of Maine, Helen Carvotta, George DeMattia, Clara DiCarlo, Arthur DeMattia and John DeMattia; and his son-in-law Vincent "Jimmy" Melanson. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all services were privately held for the immediate family.
