She was predeceased by: her parents, William Beal and Johanna Beal; her daughter Joanne Rose; and her brother Robert H. Beal. She is survived by: her husband Forrest E. Knowles, Jr.; her son David Knowles of Nashua, NH; her son-in-law Stephen Rose of Woburn; and her brother William A. Beal of Rockland.

In lieu of flowers memorials in Betty's name may be made to the Church of the Christ Congregational, 6 Lexington St., Burlington, MA 01803.
