Kathleen R. Rositer Obituary
Kathleen Ruth (Vieira) Rositer was born April 7, 1948, in Taunton, Massachusetts to Beverly R. (Westgate) and Alfred E. Vieira, late of Lakeville, Massachusetts. She passed away after a brief but hard-fought battle with cancer at Morton Hospital on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. She was married for 53 years to the late David J. Rositer of Rehoboth. They had raised two sons, the late James J. Rositer of Maine and Kevin P. Rositer of Florida, as well as their only grandson, Kevin D. Rositer of North Dighton, Massachusetts.
Kathy leaves two siblings, Debra A. (Vieira) Livermore of Phoenix, Arizona and Ronald E. Vieira of Raynham, Massachusetts. Kathy was the aunt of several nieces and nephews, including her favorite nephew, Christopher R. Rositer of North Attleboro, Massachusetts.
She was very talented and had many hobbies, including fishing, gardening, and sewing. Kathy loved designing custom jewelry as co-owner of K & D Crystals and enjoyed taking trips with her husband in their Winnebago to attend gem and mineral shows in Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Fall.
