He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Giuseppe Monterisi and Maria Monterisi; his wife Mary T. Monterisi (D'Alvisio); his children, David Monterisi (Elaine) of Dedham and Anne M. O'Neil of Readville; his grandchildren, Andrea, Anthony Monterisi, Matthew, Meghan, Kevin O'Neil and Parker Tanner; his siblings, Sergi Monterisi of Andover, Frank, Peter, Nina Monterisi, Jessie Fernandi and Vera Celeste; and his siblings-in-law, Robert, Lorraine O'Mara and Yarmouth.
