He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Carter and Mabel Carter (Rice); and his son Steven Carter. He is survived by: his wife Betty Carter (Nicholson); his daughters, June Parsons (Robert) of Marstons Mills and Elaine Weiner (Edward) of Burlington; his grandchildren, Jeremy Parsons, Melinda Hreczuck, Shoshana Rothman (Joshua) and Jonathan Weiner (Sara); and his great grandchildren, Julian, Maksym, Samson and Madeline.
