He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas F. Mahoney and Freda M. Mahoney (Carlton); his wife Eleanor M. "Ellie" Mahoney (Maguire); and his siblings, Carlton Mahoney, Evelyn Cohen, Phyllis Cusick, Joseph Mahoney and Francis X. Mahoney.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin T. Mahoney (Edy) of Burlington, Brian G. Mahoney (Carole), Anne Kinteris (Christopher) of Reading and Robert C. Mahoney, Jr. (Greg Condakes) of Ogunquit, ME.; and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Caitlin, Megan, Jade, Jamie, Chloe, Keegan, Shane and Phoenix.
