With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marjorie F. (Fahey) Joyce of Reading, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 31, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Cornelius "Neil" Joyce; her parents, Michael Fahey and Marion Fahey (McNealy); and her siblings, Marion Norton, Sister Anne Fahey, James Fahey and Leo Fahey.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Anderson (Robert) of Hampton Falls, NH and Neil Joyce (Anne) of Reading; her grandchildren, Michael Joyce and Thomas Joyce of Reading; and her brother Paul Fahey (Diana) of St. Augustine, FL..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Douglass, Edgerley & Bessom Funeral Home (25 Sanborn St, Reading, MA 01867). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Agnes Church (186 Woburn St, Reading, MA 01867). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Wildwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Marjorie's memory to Christ the King Parish, 186 Woburn Street, Reading, MA 01867 or to the Sisters of Charity Retirement Center, 125 Oakland Street, Wellesley, MA 02481.
