Joan P. Neary Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan P. Neary of Reading, Massachusetts, born in Malden, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 5, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Joan's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Joan's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Furio and Phyllis Furio (Albanese); her husband Donald Neary; her son Donald J. Neary; and her brother Joseph Furio.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas J. Neary (Cheryl Duncan) of Reading and Lori Doughty (Jay) of Reading; her granddaughter Brittany Neary of Billerica; and her great grandchild Carson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Douglass, Edgerley & Bessom Funeral Home (25 Sanborn St, Reading, MA 01867). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Athanasius Church (300 Haverhill St, Reading, MA 01867).
