James D. Murphy Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James D. Murphy of Reading, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 1, 2025 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James D. Murphy to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Murphy and Verda Murphy (Kent); and his wife Regina Murphy (Kennedy). He is survived by: his children, Karen Murphy of Reading and James Murphy (Allyson) of Reading; his grandchildren, James Murphy, Jack Murphy, John Irmer, Kevin Irmer and Kate Murphy; and his sister Donna Malinowski of Groveland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Douglass, Edgerley & Bessom Funeral Home (25 Sanborn St, Reading, MA 01867). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Agnes Church (186 Woburn St, Reading, MA 01867).
