She was predeceased by: her parents, James Merrill and Alexandria Merrill (Walker); and her husband Edwin J. Kaine. She is survived by: her children, Steven J. Kaine (Leslie) of Reading and Julie K. Porter of Reading; her grandchildren, Emily Kaine (Greg Sutherland) of Vancouver, WA, Jonathan Kaine (Tara) of Portsmouth, RI and David Locke Porter of Somerville; and her great grandchild Edwin J. Kaine.
