He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Brokmeier (Bonner) and William F. Brokmeier; his brother Ralph Brokmeier; his former wife Joan Brokmeier (Mathieson); and his stepchildren, Donald Pickard, Gary Pickard and Susan Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Carole A. Brokmeier; his sisters, Ruth A. Brokmeier of Tampa, FL and Mary Irene Brokmeier (Daughters); his children, Michele, Michael, Dana and Timothy; and his great grandchild Bill. He is also survived by his niece and two nephews.

He had two adoring sisters, Ruth A. Brokmeier of Tampa, FL and Sister Mary Irene Brokmeier (Daughters of Charity), Albany, NY.
