She was predeceased by: her parents, E. Wallace Donald and Winnie Donald (Gosse); her husband Thomas E. Ames; her daughter Marsha; and her sister Eleanor.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Ames of Taunton and Cindy Stone (James) of Raynham; her cousin Holly Phillips of Tiverton, RI.; and her pets, Hanna, Bettie and Frank. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
